Nicholas Jon Solan grew up outside of Pittsburgh. He received his undergraduate degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and he graduated cum laude from George Mason University School of Law, where he was a member of the Civil Rights Law Journal and a participant in the George Mason Domestic Relations Clinic.
Nick is currently licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Nick writes for the firm's Virginia Family Law Blog and he has spoken about divorce issues at the Women's Center in Vienna, Virginia and provided divorce services for servicemembers through the George Mason University Law School's Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic.
Nick resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife and children, and he despises Jacob’s Florida Gators.
